Seven hotspots in San Antonio discovered during a recent food festival.

SOME MAY LIKE IT HOT, BUT THERE'S MORE TO SAN ANTONIO CUISINE THAN JALEPENO SALSA AND TASTY TACOS - AS EVIDENCED BY THE SAN ANTONIO NEW WORLD WINE & FOOD FESTIVAL (www.nwwff.org) held annually (this year's festival funs Nov. 10-15).  A sombrero full of fine flavors in food and wine create a fiesta for the senses in Texas' alluring Alamo City as guests.  are seated at the town's best tables for multi-course meals, cooking classes, winemaker dinners, wine tastings, a black-tie gala, and more.  Events are set in the city's hottest hotels, restaurants, bars, and even on a river barge along the San Antonio River Walk.

Hotels like the historic EMily Morgan (next to The Almo), the trendy Hotel Valencia, and chic Watermark on the River Walk make visitors feel at home in the heart of the city.  Guests enjoy a taste of the town in more ways than one with the San Antonio Food & Wine Experience evening at the Grand Hyatt on the River Walk.  This gastronomically sinful festival ensures a hot time in a hip, well-seasoned vity - and a river even runs through it.  Here are some of our favorite foodie stops around town, as if that wasn't enough.
